Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

It’s been 5 months since chin reconstruction surgery, front chin contouring, and revision rhinoplasty...

I think people who have had plastic surgery end up living with a burden in their hearts that others don’t know about. The memory of having wounded your own body by your own choice. Even the anesthetic can’t erase the shame you feel right before it takes effect.

My facial contouring bone resection went wrong, so throughout my 20s I lived more withdrawn than other people. Later I developed inflammation too, had to leave my job, and went through depression, but I passed through it without realizing it was depression. I think I lived thinking that, because I was fairly strong-minded, plastic surgery had nothing to do with my heart. I was just a little lacking in confidence. Or I thought it was just a period when I had become a slightly irritable person... Thinking that way, I didn’t really know it was depression during that depressive period. Looking back now, I think my heart must have been in so much pain then. Still, I returned to social life and lived while forgetting it somewhat, and now after reconstruction, I think my heart is healing a lot too.

Lyricist Kim Eana once said that when you are desperately in love, you can’t write objective love lyrics, and I think plastic surgery is like that too. For any reason, when you’re depressed or when you’re trapped in a very severe inferiority complex, I don’t think you can judge plastic surgery well. When I was depressed because I really hated it, I ended up making choices even more hastily. At times like that, I think it would be good to take things a little more loosely, go to consultations, talk with friends, and make a more careful decision. Everyone lives their social lives while smiling, even with a little sense of humiliation. I think plastic surgery is also one of those struggles to live more beautifully, even if you get a little hurt. Though if it goes wrong, the damage is big ㅠㅠ So if anyone is currently depressed because of plastic surgery side effects, or if anyone is struggling with their appearance because they really want plastic surgery, I hope you all live confidently.

I think it may also be good to think at least once about whether there were more moments in your life when you were complimented on your appearance, or more moments when you were criticized. I was generally born next to siblings who were outstanding by high standards of beauty. So even though I had an ordinary appearance, I received more criticism, and my skin was the worst too, so I always lived worrying about it. When I went outside I seemed ordinary, but because I heard all sorts of strict comments at home, I lived throughout my 20s as a bundle of inferiority complexes. So deciding on plastic surgery was very easy for me, and in that process I experienced the unfortunate incident? of my chin becoming hollowed out and the surgery going somewhat wrong. Looking back on my 20s, I think back then, becoming prettier felt like a natural form of self-improvement. If there had been more people who told me I was pretty as I was... I might have been a little more cautious... I write this as an excuse to myself, who couldn’t love myself.

Anyway, the current standards of beauty are also standards injected into us by others... I don’t even know what the standard of beauty is, but people who love their own faces seem to live just fine, loved as they are. I felt so sorry to myself for never once properly cherishing a face that had been perfectly pretty throughout my 20s, and tears came late. From now on, I promise myself that I will live cherishing my own face the most.

I had received a lot of private messages and was behind on replies, but after more than 5 months had passed, I came back in. I sent all the delayed replies today.

The very top one is before reconstruction, and the rest are photos after reconstruction. Because too much bone had been cut away, the cheek sagging was severe, but I think it has been lifted slightly. I didn’t want excessive reconstruction either, and I think it turned out the way I wanted. I think it would be good to consult with a director who will choose the reconstruction amount according to your own standards. When I first had the resection surgery, after I just went ahead with it, they had shaved off everything there was to shave. ㅠㅠ I was shocked. Pursuing perfect plastic surgery is also a stress-inducing factor. People whose standards are too high or who are too sensitive seem to have a harder time after plastic surgery.

People requested CT photos, so I uploaded them together. I hope you choose carefully, but afterward, forget it quickly and live loving your face a lot. You are probably already lovely enough as you are now. Only you don’t know it ㅠㅠ As for the recovery period, reconstruction felt about a week faster than resection surgery.

For my nose surgery, I had gone to consultations very slowly, and I heard that among the directors here, one was good at slightly glamorous results and good at improving shapes that had gone wrong, so I looked up reviews and got help. Still, because of my chin, I didn’t have enough emotional room to expect much from my nose too, but recovery was fast and the shape is natural, so I’m satisfied. I specifically requested the directors and waited for a day when both of their schedules worked together.

I think plastic surgery is not a field you can do just with passion that says you can do it. I understand that succeeding with new materials can become a director’s passion and achievement, but it is better to receive surgery from a doctor who steadily and sincerely continues doing what they are currently best at. Talking about passion while saying, “Let’s try this, let’s try that,” is the kind of thing that belongs in startups or self-improvement books. For the face, directors who talk about what they can do and show photos of surgeries they have performed are at least safer than people who hand you hope. I value directors’ passion and research spirit highly too, but plastic surgery clinics are places where people come with the trust that they will pay the proper price and receive only surgeries that are currently possible and at least relatively safe. If they want to experiment, I wish they would go to a university hospital, recruit subjects, and at least get subject consent forms. (Written by someone who was experimented on at a famous fat-related hospital and lost a huge amount of money)

There are people who keep spreading my photos in group chats... Actually, I see it all.ㅜㅠ I’m in almost all the facial contouring group chats and have been talking there for years. When people post them saying it turned out well, I just sort of look, but I do flinch a little. But when people say things like my original face was long, or that my nose was already such a long nose that it was a difficult nose, I get hurt too. It’s awkward to say they’re my photos, and everyone is sensitive in those rooms because of brokers, so I just watch.

I sent private messages to other people through this community and Naver, received replies, and got a lot of help while visiting clinics for consultations, so I’m posting what I’m doing with gratitude. I thank those people once again.
