I decided to get my nose revision surgery done at Answer as the second stage. I wandered around looking at places, and after the last consultation with the coordinator, I got hooked, even though I had already paid a deposit to another hospital, I chose this hospital while accepting the cost. The doctor consultation was fine, and his personality itself felt dry. He seemed to have pride in the surgery. It wasn’t the kind of hospital where the desk assistants and female staff joke around and play, so I actually liked that stiff atmosphere. They try their best to satisfy the patient’s needs, and they adjusted the canthoplasty to match my eye symmetry. At another place, I got greedy and redid the canthoplasty, but it only left a scar, so I’m realizing that here they did it naturally without scars. ㅠ My skin itself is very thin, weak, scar-prone, and sensitive, but they really performed the surgery here very meticulously and very thinly with this technique. After the canthoplasty, for the disinfection check process, the doctor had to personally do it once in the middle, so I had to stop by at least once no matter what. So there was the inconvenience of having to be seen at least twice. It’s not a dramatic widening, but there’s really no scar, and unlike other places, it doesn’t become a D-shape, and even while the stitches are still in after surgery, it doesn’t stand out, which is nice haha Even after surgery, unless I say it like this, the outer corners look bigger without people realizing I had surgery.
The nose surgery was done as an open procedure, with ear cartilage removal inside the nose, slightly shaving the nasal bridge, adding new cartilage and silicone, tying up the tip, and osteotomy !!!!!!!!!!
But then out of nowhere they ended up removing Gore-Tex. (-> It was silicone removal) Because the hospital said it was silicone, I really had no idea. They said they had to remove all the ear cartilage that had been inserted at the previous hospital because it couldn’t be preserved. They explained that those cartilages were probably making it hard to breathe. They said there was a lot of bleeding when removing the Gore-Tex, and that it took longer than expected.
After that, I came back for stitch removal and follow-up checks, and I was very satisfied and did well.
A few months later, I started noticing a kind of bad smell inside my nose??? and swelling-like pain, so I made a consultation appointment, and after the consultation I ended up having a third surgery to remove the silicone.
There was no choice, and after booking the appointment and consulting, they operated right away. Even if it looked fine, when I said I could smell something and had some discomfort and pain, they listened from the patient’s perspective and performed the surgery. Back then I was worried that if the silicone came out, the nose shape would become strange, but because it was silicone placed on top of a high nasal bridge that had already been slightly shaved, there was no big difference after removal haha. Rather, it looks a bit more natural and prettier!!!! No discomfort either, which is nice.
Without needing 10 or 100 words, the doctor showed that he takes responsibility all the way to the end for the patients he is in charge of and properly treats and takes responsibility for them.
