5 Years After Rhinoplasty

I had silicone for the nasal bridge and septal cartilage for the nasal tip. My original nose was bulbous and my nostrils were large, so at first I was only going to do alar reduction, but after the director looked at it, he said my alae were not wide; they only looked that way because my nasal bridge was low. He said doing the nasal bridge and nasal tip instead would look more natural overall. He also said that if I did alar reduction on my nose, it could end up looking aesthetically unattractive, so I proceeded with the surgery as the director advised. And what scared me the most was revision surgery.. Rhinoplasty in particular has a high risk of needing revision, so when I asked about it, he said surgeries done in the past often had those cases, but medicine has advanced a lot now, so I did not need to worry about it. At first I was unsure, but it is true that medical technology has definitely advanced a lot.. Also, he said that because my skin itself is thick, I could not get a sharp, slim nose. Since I wanted a natural-looking nose anyway, it did not really matter.. After surgery, as the swelling gradually went down, it became the natural-looking nose I wanted, and I thought I was right to do only the nasal bridge and nasal tip, just as the director said. It turned out so natural that people meeting me for the first time have no idea I had rhinoplasty. Even now, 5 years later, it is still fine without any particular problems.
