I had a CT scan and went straight to consult with the director. As soon as I walked in, he knew I had come because of a hump nose. Since my hump is not on the mild side, he said osteotomy would be necessary. He said he would do the osteotomy, use septal cartilage to build a columellar support strut, and also do nasal valve surgery? I asked if it would be possible to proceed without osteotomy, and he said that could be done, but then the nasal tip would need to be raised more, so the nose could become too high (in a way, that's obvious). He seems to dislike obvious-looking noses, and even without me saying it, he seemed to already understand the point of improving my original nose shape rather than making it into a celebrity nose, so his aesthetic sense matched mine well. But he kept telling me not to think about the surgical process and to focus only on the goal. Of course, the reason for putting full trust in the doctor and getting plastic surgery is to fix the parts I'm unhappy with externally, but I'm someone who puts safety first, so... I think I'll think about it a bit more. Also, they said he had surgery after the consultation, and both the consultant and the doctor seemed a bit busy. The estimate was 4 million won when including everything up to osteotomy.
