I had a CT scan and went straight to consult with the director. As soon as I walked in, he knew I had come because of a hump nose. Since my hump is not on the mild side, he said osteotomy would be necessary. He said he would do the osteotomy, use septal cartilage to build a columellar support strut, and also do nasal valve surgery? I asked if it would be possible to proceed without osteotomy, and he said that could be done, but then the nasal tip would need to be raised more, so the nose could become too high (in a way, that's obvious). He seems to dislike obvious-looking noses, and the point is to improve my original nose shape rather than making it into a celebrity nose...
