There was no CT scan to review, and no virtual plastic surgery simulation either. They only took photos and reviewed them; the consultation fee was 10,000 won. Rather than coordinating exactly how I wanted it done, it seems suited for someone who will completely trust the director and lie down on the operating table. I have a hump nose, and since I wanted to avoid touching the nose as much as possible and finish it in one surgery, I wanted to focus on safety. After taking photos, I could see that my nose was somewhat asymmetric. And after looking at the area with the hump, he noticed that it looked compressed and asked if I had worn glasses for a long time (I went in wearing contact lenses). When I looked in the mirror at the hospital, it was clear that one side sloped down sharply and the other side sloped down asymmetrically (the nasal bone area where glasses rest). He said that when shaving down the hump, they do not shave only the exact hump bone; since it has to flow into the connected line, they also shave down toward the lower area. The nasal tip would not droop lower than it is now, but since right now it is a hump nose where the nasal tip is lower than the bridge, he said the nasal tip does need some work to make the line prettier. Either just nasal cartilage suturing, or harvesting septal cartilage + using ear cartilage if there is not enough. When looking at postoperative review photos together with the director, there definitely were no lines where the nasal tip looked like it would spring out, so it was the style I was looking for and had a natural feel. He also showed a review where only the hump was corrected without any nasal tip correction at all (male), and said that in most hump nose surgeries, they do medial and lateral osteotomies and slightly raise the nasal tip or improve the angle. He said they do not put cotton packing in the nose, which sounds like heaven. The consultation was detailed, and the consultant was kind too. There were no other discounts or anything. But the doctor spoke as if osteotomy was definitely necessary.
