It was a consultation for my first surgery for a hump nose. Other places consult in the order of manager - director - manager, but here they took photos and a CT first, then went straight into the consultation with the director. Unlike other hospitals, they did not mention osteotomy and said they would only slightly refine the hump, then use ear cartilage to raise the nasal tip and glabella. They pursued making it as natural as possible, and I liked that they consulted while taking my facial features into consideration. But I said I was worried my nostrils might become uneven after surgery, and they said that usually does not happen and that they perform surgery without worrying about things like uneven nostrils. I’m not sure if that means they are confident, or if they just do not really think much about that.. I liked that they did not pressure me to book a surgery or push other procedures. But their surgical method is a little different from other hospitals, so I think I need to visit more hospitals. Oh, but when I went downstairs to get the CT, there was an operating room next to it, so I saw it briefly, and I’m not sure if it just had not been cleaned up yet or what? It did not look extremely clean, and there were various things placed around, giving it a hectic feel.
