I wanted to consult with the chief surgeon, but the timing didn't work out so I consulted with another doctor. Unlike other clinics, they showed me through Photoshop how they would shape the nose, which was novel and made me even more interested. But the surgery explanation was lacking, and above all, they said they would shave down the hump and use AlloDerm on top of it, so I passed on it... At other clinics they all use septal cartilage, but here they said they don't use septal cartilage as material because it can weaken the inside of the nose. AlloDerm isn't my own skin, and they said the amount it gets absorbed later differs, so I skipped it.
