I thought I had set up a consultation with the director, of course, but it turned out I was only consulting with the manager. When I asked after the manager consultation whether I could see the director too, they said I would have to wait an hour and a half. Director consultations can only be booked ‘if you want’ and are almost only available in the morning. It seems like the director doesn’t do separate consultations; when I asked whether I then had to decide on surgery without a director consultation, they said that’s how it’s usually done...
