Added June 30) I had surgery on May 22, and now I’m going to see the director for a consultation to request an AS revision. The starting point of the silicone at the glabella, the left nasal bridge, and the boundary of the nasal tip cartilage are visible, I can feel them when I touch them, and they cast shadows... And most decisively, when I take photos or look from far away, only the nasal bridge shines and stands out, so anyone can tell it looks artificial.

Because I was worried, I searched through this community and read lots of online reviews before going into surgery... But once I actually entered the operating room, I couldn’t help feeling nervous.
First, I had silicone for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and a silicone implant for the anterior chin, and I finished surgery around 1 p.m. today and came back.
I’ll write out today’s process in chronological order.
As soon as I arrived, I changed clothes. I wore only my underwear on the bottom, changed all my clothes, washed my face, and then they took photos of my face from various angles. I met the director, heard an explanation of the surgical process, and asked a lot of things I had been curious about. We decided on a chin implant of about 6–7 mm, and he said anything beyond that could strain the chin. I didn’t want anything excessive either. For the nose, I also said I absolutely wanted it to look natural and to improve only slightly from the existing shape. Up to here, it was ordinary.
Now, when you lie down to enter the operating room,
first of all, it’s cold. I was shivering, they started putting tape all over my face, connected an IV needle to my arm, attached a heart-rate monitor to my fingertip, and in the meantime, on my left leg, they did some kind of antibiotic reaction test(?) or drug reaction test, so it stung.
In short, it’s hectic ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Several nurses were around me doing various things at the same time.
After they put tape all over my face, neck, and so on and inserted the needle, the nurse trimmed my nose hairs. (They said you can’t have nose hairs during surgery.) ...... Goodness, it was the first time I realized I had that much nose hair.
Anyway, after trimming all the nose hair, they disinfected my face several times, and they also disinfected inside my nostrils with something like a cotton swab, and it stung sharply.
During all of this, there was a heart-rate monitor on my hand, right? It beeped along with my heartbeat, and what was funny was that whenever the nurse did something or it hurt, it would go beep-beep-beep-beep quickly, and then when I calmed down, it slowed down again ㅋㅋㅋ It made my nervousness so obvious.
Anyway, after the nostril disinfection stung, because of the chin implant they also disinfected the inside of my mouth thoroughly, and it tasted absolutely awful.
Because they were touching my nostrils and it was cold, I kept feeling like sneezing, so it was hard to hold it in.
Then after a little while, they said, “You’ll start feeling drowsy now~,” and then red sun. In the middle, I heard all kinds of sounds from my ear, like something being removed, scraping sounds, whirring sounds, but it was all very faint, and I also heard a nurse saying, “Patient, are you awake?” I faintly heard the director’s voice too? But that’s all I remember, and it didn’t hurt.
After it ended, I lay in the recovery room for a while, and the bed was warm, so that was nice. They gave me a heat pack, so I used that for a bit, then came out, changed clothes, heard the prescription and precautions, and came home.
I could have taken public transportation from the hospital to home, but my nose and chin were throbbing and hurt too much, so I just took a taxi.
After coming home, breathing through my mouth was so uncomfortable that I drank water, put on lip balm so my lips wouldn’t dry out, made a whole fuss, then took one extra Tylenol with the prescribed medicine and lay down.
I opened my eyes thinking I must have slept for a long time, but only 30 minutes had passed... Then I thought some more time must have passed... but only 10 minutes had passed.... It would have been nice if I could at least sleep deeply, but I couldn’t, so it was so painful. By evening, maybe the medicine had kicked in, because my nose and chin didn’t hurt, but now my ear hurts!!!! It’s throbbing so much I’m going crazy.
I think I’ll write only this review, quickly take medicine again, and get through a difficult night.
Also, I said I didn’t want the nasal bridge raised too much and wanted the nasal tip to be natural, but ㅠㅠㅠ looking at the splint, I wonder if they raised it too much and whether it doesn’t suit my face... I’m worried, but until the splint is removed, I’ll wait with a positive mindset.
I’m going to try to believe and wait, since the shape settles over the next 6 months to 1 year. So please don’t leave negative comments for no reason ^^ I know some people have had side effects, and I know they could happen to me too. But I don’t want to worry in advance for no reason.
