Review 1.5 years after rhinitis surgery, nasal silicone removal, and nasal tip surgery

It’s already been 1.5 years. I had it removed at an ENT clinic in Apgujeong. This place does have an ENT specialist, but they seemed to focus mainly on cosmetic surgery. Before that, I had silicone placed elsewhere, and I thought ear cartilage had been used, but when they removed it, it turned out to be Medpor, so they said the surgery was difficult. Right now I don’t have any implant, and they said they laid down a thin layer of dermis because it was uneven, but it seems to have almost been absorbed. My original nasal bridge had a slight hump, and I didn’t know this before, but they said it was crooked...? (I never really felt it was crooked, so I’m not sure if they just said that as an excuse.) Anyway, my appearance 1.5 years after surgery is that the osteotomy area is slightly crooked, but when I asked around at different clinics to correct this, they said it’s the kind of thing only I would notice and that correcting it would just be a waste of money. Aside from that, I think it’s okay because I no longer have an implant, the nasal tip came out nicely with ear cartilage, and my nose used to be a large bulbous nose but has become relatively much slimmer, so it improved compared to before. (It can’t be perfect, but I think the purpose of cosmetic surgery should be seen as becoming better than before, not becoming perfect.) There was no silicone inflammation or anything like that, just movement. Silicone and Medpor went all the way to the nasal tip, so it sometimes turned red, but it didn’t hurt. If I had left it in longer, it might have become inflamed. Also, I had alar base reduction during the surgery, and I think that was truly the best move. In my opinion, this clinic seems really good at suturing compared to other things. The scar under my nose was really not visible from the time the stitches were removed, and the alar base reduction was the same. It was very surprising. Actually, surgery is about self-satisfaction, and I wasn’t perfectly, 100% satisfied, so I can’t say which clinic it was, but it did improve to some extent, and more than anything, I’m satisfied that I don’t have any implant.
