I had surgery the day before Memorial Day, and today is day 3? day 4. There’s almost no swelling, and just a bit of yellow bruising has come down under my eyes. I had 4.5 mm silicone placed in the nasal bridge, and ear cartilage was used for the nasal tip. I had rhinitis surgery when I was young, so I didn’t have septal cartilage. I also didn’t have an osteotomy, so I think that’s why there’s less swelling and bruising. For now I’m satisfied with the shape and progress, but I guess I’ll know once the splint comes off?? I was worried I might regret it if it was too unnoticeable, so I asked them to raise it as much as possible while still keeping it natural haha
