Among the many consultations I had, this was the one I remember most negatively. During the consultation, first of all, it was hard to understand that they explained the surgery without referring to the CT. At several other hospitals, they all said the same thing: “The septal cartilage is small, so it would be difficult to use, and there appears to be a history of fracture.” But here they said they would use the septal cartilage, so when I asked additional questions, I was given an irritated correction. Even when I said I had been injured before, despite having mentioned it during the preliminary consultation with the consultant, they pointed to the opposite side. There was no detailed explanation of the surgical method, so the consultation continued with me having to keep asking questions. The impression I got was that they had decided the surgical method by visual inspection and were proceeding with the consultation with the answer already fixed. They said they would do osteotomy on one side, but did not know whether they would do it on the other side. As for materials, they did not know whether they would use this or not, and said everything would be decided during surgery, but that it was included in the price regardless of whether it was used. I also found it strange when they explained that this was because the price had already been sufficiently discounted.
The facilities were generally clean, and the staff’s guidance was also neat. I also saw many Chinese people.
