I got a lot of help from this community while preparing for and undergoing revision rhinoplasty, so I came to post my review too~ I’m on day 12, and for fat grafting I had my forehead, nasolabial folds, and chin done. For the fat grafting, I had it done naturally from the start, so I was satisfied. But for my nose, after the splint came off, when I looked from the front my nose looked twice as big, so I regretted it so much, and even from the side it felt like there wasn’t much difference ㅠㅠ It was really hard emotionally;; but I kept believing it was swelling.. I bought and drank pumpkin juice, swelling-reducing tea, Angelica water(?) & Elas*** and went for walks 3 times a day, trying really hard to reduce the swelling. I don’t know if it was thanks to that or not.. but anyway, now I’m at least at a level where I can go outside. For my nose, I had silicone, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage used. It wasn’t full sleep anesthesia, so after sleeping for 15 minutes, the surgery continued while I was awake. During the surgery, the director said my amount of septal cartilage was small, so he couldn’t make a high, dramatic nose, and asked if I wanted to use donated rib cartilage. I didn’t get greedy and said I’d just do it without donated rib cartilage. Because from the start, I didn’t have complaints about the height; I was unhappy with the shape of my upturned, short nose. And I was worried about possible side effects from putting in cartilage from someone else, not my own. My first priority was lowering the upturned nose, and my second priority was making the short nose a bit longer. How does it look..? Has it gone down a bit haha..? I’m going on Wednesday to get the stitches inside my nose removed.. They say swelling goes down more after the stitches are removed, so I’m hoping my nose will come down more along with the swelling.. You can see all the dead skin in the photos. Please understand, since it’s been 12 days since I could remove it.. ㅜ
