Overall, the hospital felt clean and the staff were kind. I had a consultation focused on correcting a hump nose. Since my nasal bridge itself isn’t low, they discussed osteotomy + no implant, using septal cartilage for the nasal tip, and if that’s not enough, ear cartilage. For a case like mine, the surgical method seems to be almost similar everywhere. But osteotomy is a bit scary, though I think it can’t be helped because my hump is quite severe. The inside of my nose is also very deviated, so if I correct it functionally at the same time, I can get reimbursement through private insurance. I went in after hearing that the surgery cost was expensive, but if I get reimbursed, it seems reasonable. I’m still visiting other hospitals too, so for now I put down a reservation deposit and left. +) They reply quickly on KakaoTalk, so I can ask questions right away.
