I’d appreciate it if you could understand that this may be a bit disorganized. In my second year of high school, there was a huge cosmetic surgery boom at school.
A lot of my friends had double eyelid surgery as soon as the winter break ended, so I wanted to get it too. I went clinic-hopping with a friend and got partial incision surgery at an ENT/plastic surgery clinic called ㅇㅇㅈ during winter break. Back then I paid 1.4 million won for double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty, but both eyelid folds were different, and the line didn’t go all the way to the end either, so it was like a half-finished fold(?). I got sausage-like eyelids, and for the epicanthoplasty, one side was opened completely while the other side was only partly opened because opening it too much would make the eyes look too close together. After the surgery, the swelling went down, but even after one month, two months, and three months, the sausage eyes stayed the same and the folds were still uneven. My mom complained, so I had revision surgery again this time with full incision, but in the middle of the surgery they suddenly said they would also do ptosis correction without charging extra. After the surgery I thought it must have turned out well this time, but it was the same as the first one. The only difference is that one fold is too high and the mucous membrane on one eye is everted... Even now, 8 years after the surgery, it’s still the same... After that I graduated and got busy working, so I couldn’t even think about cosmetic surgery... I heard that hospital has since moved elsewhere. Now that I finally have a bit of breathing room, I want to get revision double eyelid surgery at a place that does it well..
