I went for a consultation and came away feeling like the director didn’t even look at the patient as a person. When I asked about the surgical method, he said, “What do you need to know that for? Even if I explain it, do you think you can understand? Patients don’t understand even when you tell them, yet they ask about things like this.” Even if a patient can’t understand every mechanism of the surgery, from the position of someone entrusting their face and paying a lot of money, it’s only natural to hear how the surgery will be done and understand it to some extent, and I think you have the right to that too. Honestly, if someone saw this, they’d think he was doing charity work for free.
