4-year review after lens implantation for high myopia

Myopia + astigmatism were a disastrous combination, so my vision was worse than -10.

My corneal thickness was okay, but my vision was waaay too bad, so they said lens implantation was the only option. I had no choice but to get lens implantation. (The clinic was around Gangnam Station.)

For the first 1-2 years, the glare was severe. I still have some now, but it’s much better than before. In the past, when I looked at shiny objects, I could see a rim of light in a certain shape, like the shape of the implanted lens?... That’s gone now.

My eyes still get tired if I use them for a long time, but since I don’t wear contact lenses, it’s much better than before.

I can wear colored contact lenses, but my eyes originally have allergies and are sensitive, so I get protein deposits and my eyes dry out easily. Still, occasionally wearing one-day lenses is tolerable as long as it’s not for a long time.
