Review of revision rhinoplasty with autologous dermis

After<15 days after surgery>After<150 days after surgery>Hello. I’m writing a few lines in the hope that it will help those considering rhinoplasty with autologous dermis. I was looking into revision rhinoplasty because my silicone was showing through, and that’s when I learned about autologous dermis and had the surgery. Since I had very little foundation to begin with and had a short, upturned nose, all I hoped was that the silicone would be removed and only the shape of my nose would remain. During surgery, I respected the director’s opinion more than my own, and after surgery I cared for it exactly as the clinic told me to. At first, it was a huge overcorrection, so the dermis was bulging out between my brows. Still, I cut bangs and wore a hat when I went around. Then time passed after all.... I developed necrosis at the nasal tip, so I ended up going to the clinic for quite a long time. Going back and forth was tiring, but they treated me carefully, so I could feel reassured. In my case, my nose was very small, so they inserted the maximum amount of dermis, and because I was already aware of the process and side effects, I thought of it as a passing stage and didn’t think too much about how hard it was. It will be 6 months soon, and as of now I’m very satisfied. The overcorrection has settled a lot, and I’ll only know for sure with more time, but after 3 months the dermis doesn’t seem to have changed much either. I don’t know if it’s related, but I gain and lose weight easily because my flesh is naturally soft, and I think my nose has already slimmed down as much as it will. At first, it was really, really, really overcorrected, so I wondered, when will this ever settle??? But now, to my eyes, it has become a really pretty nose, so I’m grateful. For revision rhinoplasty, I think autologous dermis is the answer^^
