Yesterday I went to a friend's place and got a consultation without thinking, and today I went ahead and did it right away, and ... this is what hell feels like. It reminded me of when I had surgery for a nasal fracture 12 years ago. Back then, too, I was in terrible pain at such a young age, and now I just want to go into the ICU, be put on a ventilator, and come out after a week. Sigh... I respect everyone so much.
