They had me adjust my face angle in various ways, hold my forehead with my hand, and open and close my eyes many times. They explained in detail why my current double eyelids are not properly set. They said a double-incision method, eye correction, front canthoplasty, and a little bit of excision would be needed. Because the existing scar is high, they said a double-incision method is necessary, but since the adhesions would be released and the muscle would be rearranged, eye correction is needed. When I said I wanted to minimize surgery, and asked what would happen if I didn’t do front canthoplasty, they said the front part could be slightly covered and it wouldn’t come out like the line we had just designed, so they recommended doing front canthoplasty too. Looking at the case photos, even the first-surgery photos seemed to have a lot of corrective canthoplasty, so it seems like they do eye correction and canthoplasty as a set.
