I had nose wing reduction surgery. As you can probably tell from my previous posts, my nostrils were small and the skin was thick, so my nose was one where surgery would hardly have any effect. The last place I went to try was ㅇㄴㅁㄷ, and from the consultation onward it was different from other hospitals. I think I spent more than an hour just in consultation. At first I met the manager, then the doctor, and the doctor also spent a long time on the consultation. Here, they seemed to care not just about the nose by itself, but about the harmony of the whole face. That was what I liked about it. My face is brachycephalic, so they said it would look odd if I just raised the nose up prominently here. Basically, they said my nose was hopeless from the start^^^ So they recommended correcting the horizontal direction of the nose, which is what I was self-conscious about. The options were nose wing reduction, alar rim elevation, and correction of alar curvature, or nose wing reduction and alar rim elevation. And they emphasized taking out the columella. They said I needed columella lengthening... But when I said I absolutely did not want any implant, they told me not to do it then. Plastic surgery is not a disease, so if you do not want it, not doing it is the right choice. The combination the doctor recommended most was nose wing reduction, alar rim elevation, and columella reduction, but I just had nose wing reduction, alar rim elevation, and correction of alar curvature. I will think a bit more about the columella. Still, after the consultation, I was pretty tempted
But the price here was.... I had heard it was steep, but it was truly incredible. Other places were around 1 million won even after consultation, but here, after every discount they could apply, it came out to the high 2 millions Just for one nose wing reduction
And the surgery... the injection really made tears stream down my face, phew... And I felt so weird that I really did not want to experience it twice. Everyone who actually goes through with this is truly amazing. The nurses were kind, too. The doctor also had me keep checking in the mirror a couple of times during the procedure. But once the surgery ended, it really felt like there was no change at all, so I feel upsetㅜㅡㅜ It honestly feels like I threw a little over 2 million won into thin air. For people like me who have small nostrils and thick skin, maybe it is fine to just give up on it and live without doing it. It might be better to invest 2 to 3 million won in your skin or clothes instead.. So I am not even uploading photos.. According to my mom, the part that had been protruding from my nose does seem to have gone in a little, and right now it looks like it is mostly swelling, but maybe she is just saying that to comfort me.. The manager said something like that right before surgery, too. After surgery, patients do not think it is swelling; they think the surgery only changed that much. That is exactly how I feel... I really hope this is swelling like the manager said, and that in 6 months my nose will be a bit smaller. Please If it gets that much smaller, I will write a new review.
The conclusion is that cosmetic surgery is also all about luck and timing!^^^ Even if you throw money at it to become prettier, if it is not meant to be, it will not work!!
