Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

It’s been 9 months since my rhinoplasty!

I originally had a bulbous nose + low nose, but I wanted a natural-looking nose, so I had it done by the head director. Silicone was used for the nasal bridge, and ear cartilage was used for the nasal tip. The consultation was done in a short amount of time, and it felt like the shape was only properly decided right before surgery, so I felt a bit anxious. In Busan, he seemed like the person who pursued the most natural-looking results, so I didn’t shop around and just fully trusted him and had the surgery, but if I could go back, I think I would look into it more before deciding. I showed various photos, and maybe because the person I showed had a high nasal bridge, he inserted 4.5 mm in the bridge. Maybe because I emphasized that I didn’t want a pinched nose, the nostril wings were barely brought in. It just feels slightly reduced because the nasal bridge and tip were raised so much that the rest followed upward. One thing that is a bit different from other hospitals is that you have to check a box “right before surgery” agreeing that even if the surgical method changes during surgery, you consent to it. I think this works against the patient. For me, only after going into surgery did he tell me how much he was putting into the bridge and what my nose shape was like. Also, during the surgery, they placed the tray with surgical instruments on my chest area, and I’m not sure what it was, but for quite a long time there was a feeling like they were pressing down and rubbing my chest, which was unpleasant. But I’m timid, so I couldn’t even file a complaint. Even after surgery, the director was busy, so I barely saw him. I don’t have much of a forehead, but the nasal bridge rises right from the eyebrows, so my nose looks very long. Also, the nasal tip cartilage is spread out as if it wasn’t tied properly, and the tip droops enough that the nostrils are very slightly visible from the front, so I’m thinking of having revision surgery to lower it more and make the nasal tip more defined.
