Honestly, I still don’t really know what to expect from the surgery.. I had the reservation and got it done right away yesterday.. The tape under my eyes is still on, so I don’t know the result yet.. Anyway, I had a rough consultation with the manager first and then went straight into a consultation with the doctor. Since I wasn’t thinking about fat grafting, when I asked whether it would be okay to do repositioning at my age, they said it’s something people do at my age. I don’t have that much fat to begin with, so when I made the reservation I had only chosen under-eye fat repositioning, but after seeing me, the doctor seemed to say mini fat repositioning, and said fat grafting is up to the patient to decide, but the basic approach is to do repositioning first. Flatten the surface first, and if you fill in the hollow-looking areas, the dark circles would look a bit better. So it sounded like they were giving me the choice to decide on fat grafting after doing repositioning first, and when I finally asked, “Then if I do both, the dark circles will disappear?” they said that if I do both, my under-eye hollowing would look better than with repositioning alone, so I made the decision right away and had the surgery.. Since it was about fat, I ended up having the surgery right away on the day of the reservation, and the procedure name changed during the consultation, so the price changed too.. It cost more, but.. I’m waiting and praying that the dark circles will really disappear.. Everything was done under sleep anesthesia.. whether I was asleep or awake.. anyway, it felt like I wasn’t really asleep, but they said I woke up in the middle of it.. Anyway, after waking up I could feel everything, but there was no pain.. When I was leaving.. the staff? older sister? at the front kindly explained the precautions, etc.
