<Natural nose><After Gore-Tex + ear cartilage in the nasal tip><3 weeks after removal and gathering the spread-out nasal tip>Before<Side view before removal>After<Side view after removal>It’s already been a little over 3 weeks. First, I’m applying Dermatix to get rid of the open-surgery scar on my nose. But it barely shows!
The pressure from the nasal bridge implant is gone, and the chalk-like look and the shape where the nasal tip was so sharp it felt like it might poke through have improved, so I’m really happy. It’s comfortable too.
My nose still pulls a little when I yawn, but there’s no discomfort. People who don’t know I had surgery say my impression looks softer, so I’m even more satisfied.
I was originally supposed to go in to have the dissolvable stitches inside my nose removed, but I was too lazy and didn’t go.. It does seem like the stitches are falling out little by little lol. With this laziness, it’s amazing how I managed to go to the hospital every time.
Oh, and also, the medication the hospital prescribed to prevent contracture, I took it for seven days but then something like eczema appeared on my skin, so I stopped taking it. I still haven’t felt anything like my nose lifting up..
