For someone without a columella, instead of recommending columella lowering, the director recommended alar lifting. Because my nasal tip was very droopy, I knew ear cartilage wouldn’t work and mentioned donated costal cartilage or costal cartilage, but they said it could come out sufficiently dramatic without using that, which made me wonder... I had the consultation 2 years ago, and at that time I consulted with a female director, but her aesthetic sense was too lacking, so I didn’t have surgery there.
