Eye Surgery Reviews

Review from a community

I had orthodontic treatment when I was young, but because the tip of my chin was asymmetric, even though my chin was not long, it looked long, which stressed me out. I also had a bit of a square jaw, so my lower face looked blunt, and I went in for a consultation. I also wanted my eyes to look bigger, so I was planning to do medial, lateral, lower, and upper canthoplasty, but first I had a consultation with Director Park Byeong-chan, who specializes in eye surgery, and he told me frankly what I wanted and whether surgery would actually produce the result I wanted. Because my eyes are close together, even though I wanted to get rid of the epicanthal folds, he advised me not to do any canthoplasty because it would look awkward afterward. So I told him I wanted to address the dark circles under my eyes, and he recommended under-eye fat repositioning. Then I had a consultation with Director Seo Beom-shin, a facial contouring specialist and the head director of the hospital. He asked what surgery I wanted, so I said I wanted to shave the chin tip and square jaw to get a sharper look. He said that everyone's standard for “sharp” is different, so when I explained the shape I wanted, he showed me CT X-ray images and explained how much could be shaved and what kind of shaving would look natural, while showing before-and-after cases of other patients. Director Park Byeong-chan looked very tired because he was consulting after surgery, but Director Seo Beom-shin was really kind during the consultation. Afterward, the consultant explained the surgery cost and event price, so I scheduled right away, paid the deposit, and had blood tests done. One inconvenience was that I had to get the internal medicine exam for the surgery checkup somewhere else. It may have been because I visited late in the day. I think they usually do it there, but because it got late, they asked me to get the exam elsewhere and send the results. The consultant was also kind.
