I had double-eyelid surgery at ㄱㄹㄷ Plastic Surgery using an unfamiliar method called natural adhesion. (This was already more than 5 years ago. I’m not sure if it is now a widely used procedure.) I think I paid around 1 million won total for epicanthoplasty + natural adhesion, and the director was a revision surgery specialist. To just give the conclusion, I’m very, very, very happy. I was the type who had double eyelids when I was born, but because my eyelids were so thin, wrinkles formed in multiple layers and made my eyes look sleepy. Maybe because I had almost no eyelid fat, I had almost no swelling after the procedure, and after one or two months, it looked natural like my own eyes. However, I would like to advise against epicanthoplasty. My Mongolian folds disappeared and then formed again as the area reattached, my dry eye syndrome became worse, and the scars are visible too. Unless you’re lucky, I think canthoplasty procedures are 1% gain and 99% loss. (This is an opinion based on my experience. Of course, there are many people who had good results.) When my eyes get a little dry, the inner corners of my eyes get very itchyㅜㅜ I don’t recommend it..
