It has been about 4-5 years since I had double eyelid surgery.
At the time, it was my first double eyelid surgery, and I went there on an acquaintance's recommendation without really knowing much.
A consultation with the director was only possible on the day of surgery, and before that, I could only consult with the consultant manager.
There were a lot of people, and even though I had made an appointment, I had my double eyelid consultation on the day of surgery.
At the time, I had monolids, and my eyelids had drooped, covering quite a lot of my pupils. The director looked at my eyes and said they were a type he felt confident about, and said it would be fine to make a thin line, suggesting an in-out line. The director said I did not need epicanthoplasty, and his style was basically that I should just trust him and leave it to him.
I went straight onto the operating table, and the surgery was done under sleep anesthesia for about 30 minutes. Afterward, I lay down briefly to rest and then went home.. The director was not exactly a bad or strange person.
But now my double eyelids have become inner double eyelids, and the two sides have become asymmetrical, so I am looking into revision surgery.
I do not really know whether the director misdiagnosed me or what.. anyway.. I am looking into revision surgery.
