I had no intention of leaving a review, but these days I’ve been looking into revision surgery, so I came back to this community, and suddenly wanted to leave a review, so this is a stream-of-consciousness review I scribbled down (ta-da!)
Ugh.. um.... yes.. I had my first surgery 2 years and 4 months ago with Director Kang Yoon-je at a Cheongju hospital, who is famous for revision surgery. It wasn’t even a revision, it was my first surgery, but the reason I had surgery with Director Kang Yoon-je was that he seemed to have studied the eye structure very deeply from an academic standpoint, and he seemed to operate while considering eye muscle health? that much, so I entrusted my first surgery to him without regret. In conclusion, I lived very satisfied with it.
The part you may be curious about while reading my review is *Was it really done as a dynamic double eyelid? Yes. It is a dynamic double eyelid, and the surgical method was incisional. Now, even when I close my eyes, there is no scar at all. Since the principle of a double eyelid is that the skin gets pulled in, of course the skin folds, right? Then that folded part becomes a crease, right? Yes, my surgical scar became a wrinkle (^ㅅ^).. I had incisional surgery.. and 2 years have passed.. but if you look at the photos, you’ll know.. sob! I didn’t have much swelling or bruising to begin with, and it went down so quickly that honestly, from 6 months onward, people didn’t even know I’d had double eyelid surgery...ㅠ
*Why am I thinking about revision surgery if I’m satisfied? These days.. I’m already heading toward my late 20s.. My skin is starting to sag, so the line is gradually getting lower.. almost about to become an inner double eyelid^^! Is it because I was a bit lazy about practicing opening my eyes after surgery? The line has become less defined, my eyes look dull and sleepy, and I’m in the habit of opening my eyes using my eyebrow muscles, so my eyes always feel heavy.. I’m thinking of revision surgery while considering both functional and cosmetic aspects.
*The surgery cost? Back in 2017, the surgery fee was 1 million won, and with an antibiotic ointment prescription, it came to 1,006,000 won~
