Nose Surgery Reviews

My nose surgery is ruined one month in

It has been one month since my previous nose surgery. One friend, even though I’m only one month post-op, told me to get my nose removed as soon as we met after a long time.. Another friend said my pre-surgery nose was better.. They said I look like someone you’d see in Seoul.. that this nose doesn’t suit the region.. My pre-surgery nose really was fine too, but I think my mistake of getting greedy ultimately ruined things. I had it done at a hospital famous for nose surgery..

Anyway, I had the nasal tip done with autologous costal cartilage, and my nasolabial angle is coming out to 110 degrees. My pre-surgery nose was 90 degrees, though... My nostrils are also very visible from the front.. Close acquaintances say it’s a nose angle you can’t see in Korea and that it looks way too obviously operated on. My parents also say it doesn’t look good, so my heart really hurts. I didn’t know I would end up with a nose like this either. Of course, since it was supposed to be a straight nose, I thought there would at least be no upturning.

So I was told that removal would be possible at 3 months post-op at one of the three major places, so I’m planning to have everything removed. And after surgery, I spent a month in a depressed state, looking back on the past, and I keep thinking, “Why did I even do this?” and feel regret.

Of course, it’s still only one month post-op, but the director said that if the nasal tip comes down more, it would look strange, so I judged that there is no overcorrection and I’m trying to give up on it. I definitely recommend having it done by a director with a lot of experience. My columella is also curled inward + I have many other things to say, but I guess it’s proper etiquette to watch the progress until 3 months and then talk about everything that happened afterward.. Of course, I have no expectations at all.

Please don’t end up with regrets like mine. Look into hospitals that specialize and do revision surgery, contracture, reconstruction, and various other things well. The nose is really important, so don’t rush into it. And don’t trust review photos posted on apps or online communities. When I take selfies too, my nasolabial angle looks like 90 degrees.

And I strongly urge you to avoid hospitals that bring up same-day booking.. Also, I recommend doing it at a one-doctor clinic.

This review is a surgery review that pursues a natural-looking result.
