Before<1 week>Before<hallabong >After<Day 14>Hello, I’m on day 14 after revision rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage. Yesterday I had the rib stitches removed. My eyesight is bad, but they told me not to wear glasses, so I’m not wearing them and I’m living with contact lenses. But the problem is, when they removed the splint at 1 week, they took it off pulled to one side. I thought it should be removed carefully from the top, but they held one side like peeling off a sticker and removed it with one side pressed down onto my nose, you know? I was flustered but didn’t say anything. I was really satisfied with the shape. While looking over my nose here and there, I found an indentation about the size of a pinky fingernail where the silicone shows through as a blue bruise... I’m not sure whether it happened because the surgery went wrong or because the splint was removed incorrectly And during my first surgery before, the nasal bridge didn’t move, but now it shakes a lot... Between my forehead and nose, at the glabella, I can feel a step-off where the silicone was inserted.. a lifted feeling
I told the doctor, but they said they can’t say anything yet because of the swelling. The bruise was blue on day 7 and is still blue on day 14.
The pain at the glabella is so severe that I can’t sleep, and I’m curious when the pain will subside..
