I asked the director quite a lot about the price, and it seemed like they were slightly displeased. (I haven’t had many surgical consultations, so I didn’t know I was supposed to ask the consultant about pricing.) The surgical consultation with the director felt a bit short, maybe because I didn’t ask many questions. The consultant explained things kindly. I think the price was in the mid-range among the dental clinics I visited. Here, hospitalization is 2 nights and 3 days, but you have to come back again the very next day after discharge, so I thought that was a bit inconvenient. On the way to the restroom, I could see the inpatient rooms, and since the outpatient clinic and inpatient rooms were on the same floor, there seemed to be rather few inpatient rooms, so I wondered if that was why the hospitalization period was short. First, I consulted with the consultant about the basic orthodontic period, orthodontic dental clinic, professor, and so on, then had a surgical consultation with the director, and finished with another consultation with the consultant. Since I didn’t take X-rays or CT, it wasn’t an exact surgical method tailored to me, but they gave a good consultation based on external observation. They explained in detail using another patient’s CT how the surgery would proceed, and while observing my face, they also explained in detail additional surgeries besides two-jaw surgery that might be good to do.
