I’m taking the photos down! I had surgery in 2013 and lived with a high nasal bridge for 7 years, but one day my nose seemed upturned and shortened, it would swell here and there, and I also had foreign-body sensation and tightness, so I developed a fear of contracture symptoms. I couldn’t sleep at night, wondering what to do, and eventually had it removed. I’m now one month out. My surgery was 2 mm silicone, lateral osteotomy, and ear cartilage. Some clinics said my nose had contracture, some said partial contracture, and some said it wasn’t, so revision surgery? removal? I hesitated, but in the end I just did it at the clinic where I first had my nose surgery. I returned the nose I had borrowed for 500,000 won and came backㅋㅋㅋ I thought the doctor who originally operated on me would know the condition of my nose best. The nose removal was done cleanly. I had the silicone and capsule removed, and as for the ear cartilage... I went back and forth between removing it and leaving it, hesitating so much, then right before anesthesia in the endㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I just said, “Please leave the ear cartilage!!”ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Maybe because I originally had a semi-ski-slope nose, or maybe some contracture had started, anyway I think the nasal tip had lifted a bit compared to the beginning. After removal, I like that the nasal tip came down. The nasal bridge also came back down low like before..^^ Sad. Right after surgery, my swelling and bruising were enormous and I looked like an Avatarㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ My friends said I was so swollen that they wondered if the doctor got confused and accidentally put something into my nose again.ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Even the consultants were flusteredㅋㅋㅋ After a month, it seems almost all the swelling has gone down~ㅋㅋㅋ Maybe because I had osteotomy, it has become a bit prettier than my original nose! (Please refer to the photos. The left is when I had silicone, and the right is after removal.. I’ll take the photos down after some time :) ) But my nose was originally low, and my face is a bit broad with a lot of empty space, so when I take photos my face looks a bit chubby ㅠㅠ hing I’m a bit sad that the defined impression I had before (especially 45-degree and front shots) doesn’t come out prettily anymore hehe.. The side profile is okay. Still, my anxiety is gone, my nose feels clear, and there’s no foreign-body sensation, so I’m satisfied! So I’m losing weight..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Later.. I do want to get filler, but I’m not sure ㅋㅋㅋㅋ But people I saw after a long time all didn’t know I had removed it. I remembered that I got a lot of help here, so I wrote a few words hoping I could help too~ For those thinking about removal, I hope your removal goes well like mine. Fighting!
