I went in for a consultation for revision nose surgery. I went because I saw recommendation posts saying they were famous for revision surgery, short noses, and upturned noses, since I wanted to improve the tip of my nose.. But during the consultation they said my nose was a nose that was developing contracture.. Yet I have never had any inflammatory reaction until now, and my nose is not in contracture at all.. It doesn't look like that at all either. It was just that I had surgery about 9 years ago, so the surgical method and style were simple, and the implant was placed on the bridge of the nose (they didn't touch the tip at all), so it only gave the impression that my nose looked upturned.. While getting consultations at several places, this was the first time I heard the word contracture. It was a consultation that felt wrong, like they were pushing the diagnosis of contracture without hesitation.
