I don’t remember the hospital name because it was so long ago, but at the time they said they didn’t do the nasal bridge, and that cartilage for the nasal tip / additional AlloDerm / Medpor were used. Since it was 8 years ago, unlike these days, there was no septal cartilage or support between the nostrils; it was just placed on top. But when I compare photos from a few years ago with recent ones, it feels like it has come down a bit. The area where the nasal tip bends toward the nostrils looks rounded and protruding, and even I feel like something has drooped, so I was anxious. My nose was originally low, but because of that part, whether it drooped or protruded, it became shaped like a dragon nose.
This time I had consultations at two places, and both recommended septal cartilage. Even before I explained, they said that since there is no support, it could descend. So these days I’m thinking about revision surgery.
