Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

I finally escaped my bumpy, uneven face shape!! One-month review after double-jaw surgery...

My cheekbones protruded quite a lot, and my mouth protruded too. I also had asymmetry, so I felt stressed every time I took photos. I almost never took photos that showed my whole face, and even when I did, I covered my face with my hand or took them so only half of my face showed.

Before me, my older sister persuaded my mom and had surgery, and she came back looking more okay than I had imagined? lol Her swelling seemed to go down quickly, and more than anything, after surgery her facial contour looked natural and her face became smaller, so I was envious. So I went in for a consultation too, and the director and consultant explained things well and were kind to me, which reassured me. More than anything else, I trusted the clinic because it was where my sister had her surgery.

I had watched my sister’s recovery process right beside her, so I did expect it to be hard right after surgery, but the hardest parts after surgery were not being able to sleep well and breathing. Right after discharge it was really hard, but from around day 5, breathing became okay, and I could drink water and eat things like soup well, so my condition gradually improved.

For a while the swelling went down well, but now it feels like I’ve hit a plateau ㅠ Still, I like my facial line much more than before lol Last week, after my one-month follow-up check, I said goodbye to the screw that used to catch when I smiled, so smiling has become much more comfortable now!! I hope I recover more quickly ㅠ
