Yesterday marked one week, so I went in to have the splint removed and the stitches on the columella side taken out. It had a broad and rounded feel, and even now, the next morning, it still feels that way. I hope it’s swelling... For now, I’m more satisfied than with my surgical nose, but I still can’t say I’m satisfied compared to my original nose.. It feels a bit smaller and lower, but maybe that’s because I removed it after being used to seeing a high nose, or maybe it’s because of swelling? If it’s swelling, then I think the shape has become more than 90% similar. I can’t make a pig nose, and it hurts if I press it. There’s no foreign-body sensation, and I don’t feel any tight pulling yet!
