My face used to be big and rough-looking, but these days everyone thinks it's small and slim-looking.. It's been 4 to 5 years since the surgery, and I still don't have any particular problems.. They did recommend removing the fixation pins, but I thought, not really.. so I didn't take them out, and I'm just going to leave them there.. since I still don't have any side effects....
