I had a consultation with the consultant first, then with the director. Maybe because the consultant has a lot of experience, she immediately identified the part I was concerned about. The director came out in the middle of surgery to consult with me, so I think the consultation was all over in almost 3 minutes. At other hospitals, they said my eyelid skin was thick, so I would need an incisional method to keep it from coming undone, but here they said a buried-suture method would also be possible. And they kept saying they were confident and that it was easy, but personally I felt it wasn’t a good fit for me, so I don’t think I’ll get it done here.
