Before/after/after 9-month review of double-chin muscle tightening and liposuction surgery
I had always been bothered by the double chin caused by my short chin, but as I gained weight, it got so severe that it was visible from the front even when I was just sitting still. I got stressed every time I looked in the mirror, so I started looking into liposuction.
I was looking into different hospitals through an app when I received an event message, and after the consultation, I decided to go through with the surgery. The consultant who counseled me was really kind, and the director I met on the day of surgery was also kind and felt trustworthy.
For the surgery, I literally fell asleep and woke up and it was over. On my way home, the anesthesia started wearing off and it began to throb. Maybe because of the muscle tightening, on the first day it was uncomfortable to eat foods that needed chewing, so I ate porridge. On the second day, it hurt and felt uncomfortable when the muscles around the uvula moved while swallowing saliva. I kept wearing the compression band, and I went on walks consistently for warm compresses and swelling reduction.
People around me kept asking why I was getting surgery instead of dieting. Of course dieting would help, but my face naturally had a lot of fat around the chin, so even when I lost weight, my face was always round. I wanted a V-line face, so I had the surgery. After surgery, I lost more than 10 kg through dieting and have gained a little back now, but it hasn't become round like before surgery lol It's not that fat doesn't accumulate in the operated area, but when I gain weight, the V-line is maintained and my face just feels a bit wider, you know?
Even as I got older, I could never get away from a cute image, but since my face shape changed, I feel like I succeeded in changing my image, so I'm satisfied : ) I'm writing this for everyone who's considering it, so they can use it as a reference
