Before after after I had hump nose surgery at Lowell Plastic Surgery, and I’ve been hearing a lot that I look more feminine after the surgery, so I came to write a review to let people with a hump nose like me know that there is hope too! lol As you can see from my nose, I had a hump nose with quite severe drooping of the nasal tip, so I wanted to lift it a little more glamorously. People around me kept saying that someone with a hump nose like mine would have a big image change after surgery, so when I got the urge, I went for it lol Double eyelid surgery has many places that are decent no matter where you do it, but with noses, there are so many posts about side effects.
1. Exclude factory-style hospitals 2. A place where it is easy to see the director after surgery 3. A place with many reviews using autologous costal cartilage and donated rib cartilage 4. A place where the director’s consultation is proactive
I chose the hospital based on these 4 criteria! I went to Lowell because I heard it was a private clinic, and even using autologous costal cartilage, it was cheaper than other places. I thought it was a merit that even with osteotomy and hump correction, all procedures could be done without extra charges. No matter how cheap an event price is, many places keep adding extra costs once you go for a consultation, so I couldn’t ignore the cost.
During the consultation, the director said the force pulling my nasal tip downward was strong, so it would be better to use a material that could fix it firmly, and recommended autologous costal cartilage. I had already gone into the consultation considering rib cartilage anyway (while going around consultations, I was debating between donated rib cartilage and autologous costal cartilage.. lol), so I had no resistance to autologous costal cartilage itself. But I was even happier because he told me I didn’t need an osteotomy! I heard swelling lasts a long time if you have an osteotomy ㅜㅜ
He said the key was to make the nasal tip shape look good and keep it that way, and that during surgery it was fixed in 4 layers, so it should stay firm lol He said once the swelling goes down, breathing will become even more comfortable, so I’m already looking forward to it. I already like the line, and he said that once some swelling goes down from here, the shape will look more naturally lifted, so I’m looking in the mirror every day! I want to see what shape it will become soon lolol
