After<Before and after>After<Before and after>AfterMale rhinoplasty, bulbous nose with a slight hump. I didn’t like my slightly thick-looking nose shape. I had a bit of osteotomy too, but did not have alar reduction. The director said it wasn’t necessary, gathered the nasal tip cartilage, and recommended doing it later if I felt I needed it more in the future. Since it was a thick-feeling bulbous nose, I had surgery with cartilage binding rather than alar reduction.
It’s been over 3 months since my rhinoplasty and not yet 4 months. The major swelling is all gone, and only minor swelling remains. I think it was a good thing I didn’t get alar reduction. I’m satisfied because it suits my face well and isn’t excessive.
Once all the swelling goes down later, I’ll post another male rhinoplasty review.
