First surgery - inframammary incision, Motiva Demi 320cc on both sides, subfascial placement Revision surgery - inframammary incision, Motiva Demi 380cc on both sides, dual-plane placement After my first breast surgery, I was unhappy with things like bottoming out, lateral displacement, and scars, so after thinking about it, I decided to get revision surgery. When I had my first surgery, I don’t think I really looked into breast surgery properly before doing it, so I regretted it so much… This time, I thought I should research a lot before surgery. I went to about 4 consultations, and every time I had a consultation, they told me it was indeed bottoming out and that if subfascial placement had been done, I was the type where it would show ㅠㅠ After the consultations, I think I became even more convinced that I needed revision surgery!
Because I regretted my first surgery so much, for the revision I visited many clinics and thought about it a lot. While getting consultations at several places, I checked whether it was a breast-specialized clinic, not a factory-style clinic, whether communication was good, whether same-day discharge was possible, whether CCTV viewing was available, and whether an anesthesiology director was stationed inside the clinic! This clinic met all of those points, and they said Director Kim Ui-geon had operated on many different breast cases, so I felt confident and had my revision surgery there. The director picked up on the parts I was dissatisfied with and explained in detail why those results had happened.. The consultation was really good.. I think I was even more drawn to it because the director was already known for 27-minute breast surgery and painless surgery. Since mine was a revision, it took a little longer! (After surgery, I also didn’t have a drain or compression bandage separately.)
The reason I increased the implant size was that I had surgery with Demi 320 because I wanted natural-looking breasts, but the size was smaller than I expected. They also recommended increasing the size if I wanted to fill out the upper breasts.
The reason I changed from subfascial -> dual-plane was that I’m thin enough for my ribs to show, so I had breasts where rippling was visible, and because I didn’t have much of my own breast tissue, I could feel the texture of the implants as they were. The director said that if I had surgery with dual-plane placement, the muscle layer would cover them, so the rippling would be less visible and the feel would improve, so I changed to dual-plane.
After the first surgery, there was a bit of sagging/displacement, so I worried about that the most, but after the revision, I’m so happy that when I lie down, there is no widening between the breasts or displacement.. Since it was revision surgery, I worried a lot and carefully chose the clinic, and I’m so satisfied with the result that I’m writing this review. If you’re considering revision surgery, I hope you look into it thoroughly and choose your clinic well!
