After before beforeThis is a 1-month review of bimaxillary surgery at Yangyun
Since I was very young, I had a malocclusion due to genetics and knew my jaw protruded, so I was stressed about it continuously I vaguely thought I should have surgery once I became an adult, but when I actually became an adult, I was scared, and my friends said it didn’t show that much and told me to just live with it, so I kept putting it off. Then when I left my job, I felt that if I delayed any longer, I really wouldn’t be able to do it, so I looked into it
For consultations, I’ve been to dental clinics countless times until now.. I wanted to finish with orthodontic treatment only, without bimaxillary surgery, but every dental clinic said it was impossible without bimaxillary surgery, so I looked into bimaxillary surgery I booked consultations at 2 oral and maxillofacial surgery places, and my first consultation was at Yangyundol It was my first consultation and I went without really knowing much, so I was worried, but the consultant first explained all the things other people often ask, and the director also explained additional details They said bimaxillary surgery + orthodontic treatment were essential, and because my chin tip was short, they recommended genioplasty. They also said cheekbone surgery might be good, but it wouldn’t have a dramatic effect, so I should think about that and decide When I went to another oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic, they also similarly mentioned bimaxillary surgery, genioplasty, and cheekbone surgery I hadn’t thought about genioplasty or cheekbone surgery, so I only kept thinking about it, and a whole year passed. Before it got any later, I thought I should at least do something, so I booked a re-consultation at Yangyundol, which I had liked from the start When I went, we didn’t do much consultation. I said I wanted surgery, and they said I just needed to decide about the cheekbone surgery before surgery, so I went straight to the orthodontic dental clinic and started pre-surgical orthodontic treatment I had orthodontic treatment for about six months? and then they told me to schedule the surgery date. While doing orthodontics, my cheekbones gradually became more noticeable, so I decided to include cheekbone surgery too Before surgery, I really only had two thoughts: let’s just not worry, and let’s eat everything I wantㅋㅋㅋ I was supposed to fast from 12 the day before, but I think I ate until 11:30 On the day of surgery, they measured the wafer size, explained the surgical plan and precautions, and I think I went in around 1? After waking from anesthesia, my memory starts from sitting on the bed, so apparently I came back in a wheelchair, but I don’t remember. The director said my condition was very good and that it was a relief, and at that time I could breathe well too, so I was dazed and totally fine, almost thinking, what, am I built for this? But it got harder and harder... On the first day, I couldn’t sleep a wink and kept pressing the call button asking the nurse to suction me, do this, do that, saying I couldn’t breathe, and bothered them. I’m sorry. On the second day, it got a little better, so I walked around inside the hospital too, and slept from 9 to 6, but my face felt hot, so I woke up every thirty minutes ㅜ For the week after discharge, I was basically dead, and what was interesting was that after a week passed, I could breathe well. In week 2, after all the stitches were removed, I really became okay. I had only been eating porridge, but then I made rice very soft and ate it too. I originally like eating, so now I’m eating quite a lot of things, mainly chicken and soft foods My friends originally told me not to do it unless I really had to, but now they say I definitely look cuter and they’re looking forward to the swelling going down First of all, I really like that I don’t look like, anyone can tell I had surgery!! It came out natural, and since it’s winter, if I wear makeup and cover with a scarf, no one knows, so that’s niceㅋㅋㅋㅋ
