When I was young, I had two front teeth extracted, and after that the front teeth that grew back came in chipped. Because of that, it was hard to bite through noodles like jjajangmyeon or naengmyeon, so eating was really a struggle. My mother, who knew how hard this had been for me, took me to the dentist, and I had ceramic crowns placed on four teeth in total, including one front tooth and the upper and lower teeth. It is still amazing to me that, about 7-8 years later, they are still firmly in place.
