Before<before>After<this is a post-op photo>I'm resting at home after surgery, and I was grateful that you worried about me, so I wanted to at least upload a photo before leaving. I posted after coming back from surgery, and I was so thankful for the comments. I gained strength from everyone worrying about me and cheering me on, and I got home safely and am recovering now. When I first got home, maybe because of the weather and the anesthesia, my condition was low, and my body felt cold, so I was too out of it to post right away. For now, the swelling is still severe around my cheeks, so I'm diligently wearing the compression band as part of swelling care. I'm also doing warm/cold compresses as the hospital instructed, and my mouth doesn't open well. My jaw feels tingly and it's hard to open, so I'm practically barely eating. I'll probably lose weight too.. Still, most people say it takes about 2 weeks before you look like a human face, so I'm relieved that I think I look okay even now. I'm slowly going out for walks too, and since it isn't raining too heavily, I've been walking around outside, but I'm worried that if it rains a lot, walking will be hard. If I can't go for walks, I'm going to try hard to march in place at home at least. I was instructed to wear the compression band 3-4 times a day for 1 hour each until one week, so I basically keep it on all the time except when sleeping, and after that I'm going to keep doing it until 3 months. I'm diligently using mouthwash, but I'm worried whether the hospital will say I'm doing well too. They said once it reaches 2 weeks, they'll start dental visits from week 2 and check and manage things, so I want to get aftercare, stitch removal, and checkups soon. I'll come back to post another review.. Since the photos are here, I'm uploading them again..
