M.T I went here because they said they also do standalone alar-side surgery I was curious because I sometimes saw reviews saying the alar side and pointed nostrils looked less noticeable after surgery The 상담 staff were kind The doctor was just easygoing They said the alar side is not necessary for my nose (if the columella is visible below the alar side when a side-view photo is taken, then it apparently doesn't need to be done) If you do nostril-lowering, the front view gets improved but from below the nostrils can become asymmetrical (right now they're symmetrical) The tip of the nose gets a little bigger, and for the rest of your life there is apparently a scar or lump of cartilage felt at the tip of the nose, and because they have to harvest the front part of the ear cartilage, a scar remains on the ear too ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ But for me, the drawbacks were greater than the benefitsㅠㅠ
Alar reduction was 110 Nostril-lowering was 220 Including VAT
My conclusion is that I won't just go ahead with surgery It feels like sacrificing the greater good for the lesser Maybe as time goes on, a better method will come out, right? But after going to all the places I wanted consultations at, I think it helped a lot with making a decision (I felt my mind go empty lol)
And last time I also went to Rkkk, and there the doctor said it didn't really need to be done. Other hospitals tell you to do one more thing even if you don't need it, but I liked that the consultation felt a bit more honest?
