LASIK surgery review

I think most people probably know well, since it comes up with just a little searching, that if you get LASIK/LASEK, your vision improves, and depending on the person, you may experience dry eye syndrome and nighttime glare.

<Pros>

1. Vision gets damn good.

<Cons (side effects)>

1. Dry eye syndrome.

2. Glare.

<Detailed cons I personally felt (side effects)>

1. Dry eye syndrome comes easily. The more tired I am, the stronger it gets. Because of that, my eyes become very, very dry and stiff.

2. Glare. (It was a bit severe in years 1-2, but it gradually disappeared.)

3. If a foreign body gets into my eye or an eyelash pokes it, the pain on the cornea is severe. Even when an eyelash falls and is sitting on the cornea, the eye hurts quite a lot.

4. If I rub my eyeball directly, my eye gets bloodshot easily. It might be okay to rub directly, but it gets bloodshot easily and I’m afraid that could cause vision deterioration, so after surgery I only rub over the upper and lower eyelids as if massaging.

5. Whenever the subject changes between near and far distances, I feel my eyes adjusting focus.

6. It comes with dizziness. (Because of my job, I look at monitors a lot.)
