5 years ago? It was a long time ago, but I went for contour injections and Botox procedures. I was concerned about my angular jaw, and they told me to clench my teeth, checked the muscles on both sides, and said that this level of muscle is the amount needed for chewing activity, and that the issue wasn’t the muscle but the jawbone itself being angular, so Botox would not be effective. When I said that if so, I at least wanted contour injections because of my cheek fat, they told me to lose weight first and then think about it. (I was a standard weight, and it was a time when people didn’t say I looked fat.) Still, because of my own stubbornness, I got contour injections for the first time back then, for a price in the mid-100,000 won range. I didn’t see any effect, but because they gave me such an honest consultation back then, since then until now, I haven’t really been interested in procedures like Botox or contour injections, and I’ve just been living with it.
